New Roles for Baldwin and Mandel at The Sanford Organization
Wauconda, IL (April 15, 2010) -- The Sanford Organization (TSO), an association management company located in the Chicago area, is pleased to announce two executive management changes. Rand Baldwin, CAE has been named CEO and Joyce Mandel has been appointed President. Baldwin has over 20 years of association management experience, 12 of which have been spent at TSO. Mandel first joined the staff at TSO in 2009 as Technology and Human Resources Consultant. Before joining TSO, her prior leadership experiences were in Technology Program Management and Staff Leadership, including performance/compensation management, professional coaching/development, and change management at Hewitt Associates, a global benefits outsourcing organization.
"As CEO, my primary focus is on client services," noted Baldwin. "I currently serve as the President and/or Executive Director of several of our key clients and additionally, am responsible for overseeing all other client relationships. I am enthusiastic about taking on this dual-leadership role with Joyce."
"My primary role as President is to oversee the operations of the organization," said Mandel. "I am passionate about empowering teams to achieve results and motivating individuals to exceed expectations."
Beyond TSO, Baldwin is passionate about following global and national economic and political trends and opinion. He has been active in organizing several charitable fund-raising events to support Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and has personally advocated in court on behalf of children in the local community who have been abused and neglected.
Outside of work, Mandel is very enthusiastic about improving social issues. She has advocated for the best interests of abused and neglected children from within the Lake County, Illinois judicial system. She has also volunteered at a local women's post-incarceration transition home, Habitat for Humanity, and the Foods Resource Bank—an organization which seeks to alleviate hunger throughout our world.
